‘Breaking Bread’

15% of proceeds will be donated to a local NPO as part of my “helping hands” initiative. Proceeds from this print will be going to the Shine literacy programme based in Ocean View.

The Shine literacy programme assists young, under- resourced  children with reading as well as writing. First, children to learn to read and then they read in order to learn. Thus, it is a vital and foundational skill that impacts the trajectory of their lives. 

My “hand series” is all about community and connection. I like to think that our hands are our little antennas to the world! They help us feel, experience and enjoy our human existence. 

This “Breaking Bread” piece is a perfect addition to your kitchen or dining room (or wherever you’d like to pop it). Let it be a reminder that loving people and being loved by people is really what matters in this world.
